It Starts with you!

Heartland Medical Direction has always had an intense focus on saving lives in the field. We are now turning our attention to make sure lives are sustained after the field; the lives of our own first responders. For years First Responder Mental Health has been placed on the back burner and we are ready to shed some light on it and provide mental health support to agencies in need.
Heartland Medical Direction has partnered with the Warrior’s Rest Foundation to develop a multiagency Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) response team for Oklahoma agencies in need of crisis intervention. This can be provided in both an individual and a group setting. The Heartland CISD team was trained with methodology from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and utilize Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Rest-Information-Transition Services (RITS), Immediate Small Group Support (ISGS), and Powerful Event Group Support (PEGS).
