What we offer

Actively involved Medical Director

Active medical director involvement is paramount to an EMS agencies success.  From providing education to on-scene observation and quality assurance, Dr. Worden is actively involved in all aspects of prehospital care.

Skilled Educators

Heartland Medical Direction has four highly skilled Paramedic Educators with over 30 years combined EMS experience.  Providing a broad range of education not only including prehospital medicine but firefighting and law enforcement education as well.

Robust Quality Assurance Program

Heartland Medical Direction uses a cloud based QA program.  Reviewing prehospital care allows for improvement of the care provided to our communities.  Quality Assurance activities are also reviewed at Quarterly all agency meetings.

Cloud based Narcotic Tracking

Partnering with LogRx, Heartland utilizes a paperless system for narcotic tracking.  This allows medics to reduce the amount of paperwork needed after administering controlled medications.  This also allows agency directors to accurately and effectively manage medications.

Simulation Trailer

Simulation training allows medics to practice critical skills in a realistic environment.  With assistance from the OERSSIRF grant, Heartland Medical Direction has a one of a kind ambulance simulator.  Offer medics the ability to hone their skills.

Group purchasing power

Heartland Medical Direction has agreement with several equipment suppliers.  With our many agencies combined, we are able to secure better pricing for every agency thereby lowering their expenses to provide care.

Monthly Educational Offerings

We believe that education enhances the care we provide to our communities.  Therefore, our staff of paramedics, along with the Medical Director, offer several continuing education courses each month.  These are offered live at various locations as well as via an online format.

Quarterly All Agency Meetings

Bringing our member agencies together to share ideas, discuss topics, and to review Quality Management activities is paramount to Heartland.  We can all learn from each other and these quarterly meetings help facilitate this.
